Welcome to
All Saints Maldon

A church in the heart of Maldon: Growing hope and faith in every generation

In the heart of Maldon, and open daily for visitors, All Saints carries a long tradition of being the beloved source of hope, connection and life in the town.

Today it is home to a hopeful, generous community who love the town and take care of people in need in countless ways without show or fuss.

At the same time we love to sing and party, and our vibrant celebrations and events, including the Christmas Tree Festival and services that range from the ethereal to the almost raucous, via plenty of laughter and prayer, bring the town together.

Worship at All Saints Maldon

Join us at our services this Sunday.

Traditional Holy Communion

Sundays, 8.00am

The early morning service each Sunday is an ideal way to start Sunday – a chance to hear the words of scripture and follow the pattern of words learnt by generations. The poetry and depth of the liturgy is matched by the quiet it imbues. A gem of worship from the Book of Common Prayer.

Contemporary Holy Communion

Most Sundays, 9.30am

Whether we are enjoying our choral music, a favourite hymn or worship song, or joining in an action song with the little ones,  All Saints aims to be good news for Maldon and champion faith through the Spirit, through Scripture and through the Sacraments. Our core gathering offers contemporary liturgy with ancient reverence, a warm welcome, care for small people and time to relax and make friends with a drink afterwards.

Pop Up Evensongs

Every so often we prepare a special Evensong for an oasis of ethereal music and prayer. Roughly every quarter they often tie in with a Christian festival and offer a candlelit experience of beauty, healing and joy. Why not try one out the next one?

Worship for All (Regeneration)

First Sunday of the month, 10am

On the first Sunday of the month we leave the pews and worship cafe style. Let us hand you a drink as you arrive and join in an informal, interactive service designed to help families grow in faith alongside new friends and old. Everyone genuinely welcome.

Healing & Wellbeing

We offer prayer for healing and restoration any day - just ask one of the Welcome Team or clergy, but when there is a 5th Sunday in the month our services offer a specific opportunity to receive prayer and anointing for healing. God always heals - it’s His core business - and while it isn’t always according to our plan. Because our minds, our memories, our feelings and our bodies are His business, He always answers, always blesses, and always comforts when we ask.

Everything we do at All Saints aims to enable every generation to follow Jesus.

Our popular All Age gathering Worship for All is growing so fast we’re looking at options for new times and venues.

Children are always welcome to every one of our services, and our Young Life Team are always ready to offer a children’s space and activities when the content is aimed at the adults. Meanwhile our teenagers sing in the choir or serve on a team.

We actively serve the work of local schools and run a well-loved toddler group called Sunshiners because we believe God’s love can change the world. The young and the young at heart make a difference here.
