Building Hope in Local Schools
We are committed to working with local schools so that the next generation can ask questions about faith, nurture their own spiritual experience and be inspired.
What part could you play?
In the last year we’ve welcomed five local schools, bringing both primary and secondary level students to our beautiful church buildings for celebratory services and educational visits.
Some of us build hope by being school governors for Heybridge Primary School or All Saints Primary School and supporting the important and deeply caring work their staff teams are doing.
The ‘Open the Book’ Team takes weekly assemblies in local primary schools, bringing the bible to life with laughter and wisdom.
Other assemblies and prayer events are led by our clergy and we love partnering with others in Maldon who are passionate to bring good news into schools.
That’s why we helped to facilitate the outstanding Life Expo across five locations in one week.
(That was a lot of loading and unloading a van, with hundreds of smiling, engaged young learners asking brilliant questions in between.)
